Ipreo to integrate OpenExchange videoconferencing capabilities into BD Corporate IR workflow application
New York – June 07, 2013 – Ipreo, a leading global provider of market intelligence, investor data and workflow solutions to capital markets and corporate professionals, and OpenExchange, the video conferencing platform for investor communications, announced a partnership to offer integrated virtual meeting solutions to Ipreo’s Corporate Investor Relations clients.
OpenExchange offers a community-based video service to a qualified network of corporate executives, investor relations officers (IROs), analysts and portfolio managers. It was designed to simplify HD videoconferencing by combining interoperability with a secure, easy-to-use interface that allows instant access via its global directory. OpenExchange helps users enrich investor and analyst communications, engage investors regardless of location and enable remote executive participation.
Ipreo’s BD Corporate product suite combines the industry’s most robust institutional data with intuitive IR workflow tools. The applications provide access to detailed profiles and comprehensive ownership information on over 135,000 institutional contacts, 50,000 buy- and sell-side firms, and 125,000 funds, across all asset classes and regions of the world – all fully integrated with relevant IR workflow functionality focused on managing and communicating with investors.
As a result of this partnership, OpenExchange’s video-related capabilities will be integrated with Ipreo’s BD Corporate application. Through this integration, BD Corporate users will be able seamlessly to find contacts in an integrated global directory, view availability, and schedule and conduct video meetings with investors.
“The ability to easily connect participants from a variety of video endpoints – from the office, a conference room or on the road – extends the reach of IR professionals and facilitates more frequent and more timely interactions with key investment community members,” said Mark Loehr, CEO of OpenExchange. “Incorporating OpenExchange’s virtual meeting capabilities into the BD Corporate platform means our users will be able to more easily use Ipreo’s global database of institutional money managers to connect over video.”
“The core directive behind all of BD Corporate’s functionality is the facilitation of investor engagement,” said O’Hara Macken, EVP & Managing Director, Global Products and Applications at Ipreo. “Combining OpenExchange’s video capabilities with Ipreo’s institutional contacts is a natural extension of the investor outreach channels that our solutions are designed to support.”
