Hong Kong – Sept 4, 2017 – Ipreo, a global leader in providing market intelligence, data, and technology solutions to corporate and financial services professionals, announced it will again be hosting its world-class educational experience in three cities in Asia from Monday, September 11, through Friday, September 15, 2017. This year’s “IR Wisdom Summit” is being produced in partnership with the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association (“HKIRA”) and is designed to enhance the investor relations profession through increased professional education, awareness and networking.

The IR Wisdom Summit represents a unique opportunity for investor relations professionals, corporate secretaries and the C-suite in the region to benefit from an exclusive gathering of influential local, regional and international financial industry experts and peers. This year’s agendas cover such topics as the changing landscape of active and passive investment, MiFID II, corporate governance developments, and the changing role of IR professionals. The speaker line-up of international and regional speakers includes proxy advisors Glass Lewis & Co., investors such as BlackRock, Hermes Investment Management and Robeco, as well as insights from both the Taiwan and Hong Kong stock exchanges.

“The tremendous response to the IR Wisdom Summit over the past five years is a testament to the importance of professional development and networking to the development of the critical function of investor relations,” said Edward Soon, Ipreo’s Head of Corporate Sales for APAC. “We are very pleased to once again bring practical content and expertise directly to IR practitioners in the region.”

“The best-practices content and professional interactions that the IR Wisdom Summit provides are firmly aligned with HKIRA’s mission of developing investor relations in the region to international standards,” said Eva Chan, Chairman of HKIRA. “We are proud to partner with Ipreo on this valuable initiative.”
