Ipreo Global ECM Review: The Week Ended October 31, 2014

In U.S. economic news, Q3 GDP rose by 3.5%, beating expectations, while the chain deflator expanded by 1.3%, falling shy of estimates. Elsewhere, Eurozone inflation rose a slight 0.4% in October, up from 0.3% in September but remaining below the crucial 1.0% mark. Finally, Japan’s industrial production rose a seasonally-adjusted 2.7% in September, surpassing both a 1.9% rise in August and economists’ forecasts for a 2.2% increase.
