Ipreo Global ECM Review: The Week Ended May 1, 2015

In U.S. economic news, personal income for March remained flat, while personal spending edged up 0.4%, both falling short of estimates. Elsewhere, Germany’s retail sales fell a seasonally-adjusted 2.3% in March, down from a decline of 0.1% in February and below expectations of a 0.5% rise. Finally, Japan’s revised manufacturing PMI reading came in at 49.9, above last month’s preliminary April reading of 47.7, and below March’s 50.3 reading.
