Ipreo Global ECM Review: The Week Ended March 27, 2015

In U.S. economic news, existing home sales rose to 4.88M in February, up from 4.82M in January but missing consensus expectations of a 4.90M reading. Elsewhere, the consumer price index for February added 0.2%, reversing course from January’s 0.7% slide and matching economists’ forecasts. Meanwhile, U.K. factory orders posted no growth in March on wavering foreign demand, falling from a reading of 10 in February and missing economists’ predictions of 9. Separately, Singapore’s producer prices fell 11.8% year-over-year in February, ahead of January’s 13.1% decline, and continued the drop in producer prices the country has seen since May of last year.
