In U.S. economic news, the second estimate for Q4 GDP indicated growth of 1.0%, surpassing both the prior estimate of 0.7% and forecasts of a 0.4% rise. Meanwhile, the Eurozone’s economic sentiment index fell to 103.8 in February from a revised 105.1 in January, missing economists’ expectations of 104.3, and marking the lowest score since June 2015. Finally, Japan’s CPI remained flat on a yearly basis in January, in-line with economists’ expectations, but below December’s 0.2% increase.
