In U.S. economic news, initial claims fell to 267K from 276K, missing consensus estimates, while continuing claims jumped to 2191K from the downwardly-revised 2172K in the prior week. Elsewhere, Germany’s exports grew a calendar-and-seasonally adjusted 1.3% month-on-month in February, reversing course from the 0.6% decline in January. Finally, Japan’s consumer sentiment increased to a seasonally adjusted 41.7 in March from 40.1 in February.
