Ipreo recently completed another successful year of our intern program, and before everyone gets settled into fall, we thought we’d take a moment to celebrate the impressive collection of young people who spent the summer contributing to our business.

Interns have been a part of Ipreo for many years, and as the company has grown, so has the program.

In 2017, we welcomed 57 interns, with 33 in our New York City headquarters, 18 in our Raleigh location, five in Nashville, and one in our new San Francisco office.

A few weeks ago, the Blog shared a report that was spearheaded by one of the interns in our Corporate Analytics team here in New York, and that wasn’t the only significant contribution our interns made to Ipreo over the past few months.internships, interns, hackathon, ipreo, careers, students, learning, market data, fintech, raleigh, nyc, nashville, san francisco

Interns worked across a wide range of Ipreo departments, including Global Markets Intelligence, DevOps, Marketing, Account Management and Sales Operations, the aforementioned Corporate Analytics, UX, Legal, Private Capital Markets and more. They assisted in researching and writing special reports and presentations, helped design and code web pages, repaired and deployed bug fixes, and created infographics.

Two of our interns even participated in Ipreo’s 3rd FinTech Hackathon, in which development teams put their coding skills to the test in the service of creating actual applicable solutions for use in our software. One intern was on the winning team, assisting in creating an internal event management tool that will eventually make its way into our products, and has since accepted a full-time role at Ipreo.

Many of the 2017 interns have accepted offers to return to Ipreo, either for another summer as interns or to be part of the Ipreo Leadership Program. The ILP is dedicated to setting Ipreo’s newest additions up for success at the company, and focuses on their development, mobility, and progression. Participants of the 2017 class recently spent a week in Raleigh, the home of the Ipreo Academy, where they underwent an intensive five days of training in Ipreo 101.
