Scott C. Ganeles
Chief Executive Officer
Scott comes to Ipreo from i-Deal where he filled the role of CEO since its inception. Prior to i-Deal, Scott was President of the Carson Group, a financial information services firm focused on corporate strategic intelligence and investor relations. As a co-founding partner and President of Carson since 1990, Scott was one of the prime architects and leaders in Carson's development from a start-up to a multimillion dollar enterprise. Scott earned his BA in Political Science from Brown University.
Kevin Marcus
President and COO
Kevin is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business. Kevin became President and COO of Ipreo upon consummation of the merger, having come from i-Deal, where he held the same titles since joining in February 2006. Previously, Kevin spent three years as President of Thomson Financial's Corporate Group, architecting a global repositioning of the business through internal initiatives and acquisitions, which accelerated growth and delivered an integrated solution to public company CFOs and investor relations officers. Kevin came to Thomson through its acquisition of The Carson Group where, beginning in 1992, he served in a variety of executive-level capacities and was integral in the company's success. Kevin earned his BA in History from Cornell University.
Brian Dockray
Chief Financial Officer
Brian came to Ipreo from i-Deal, where he held the position of CFO since its inception. He has global responsibility for Ipreo's finance, human resource and facilities functions. Previously, Brian served as Chief Financial Officer at NextVenue Inc., an internet based audio and video service provider for the financial services industry. Prior to NextVenue, Brian was a Vice President in Deutsche Bank's media and technology investment banking group where he provided M&A and capital raising advisory services. Brian's experience also includes positions at NBC and Deloitte & Touche. He received his CPA in New York and a BS in Accounting from Lehigh University.
Jonathan Meyer
Chief Technology Officer
Jonathan is responsible for Ipreo's global development, operations and infrastructure teams. Jonathan comes to Ipreo from i-Deal, where he was appointed CTO in August 2002, having previously been responsible for the firm's application development division. Jonathan has extensive experience in development of syndicate technology, from the creation of Merrill Lynch's worldwide equity platform to the extension to the internet of Merrill Lynch's award-winning debt syndicate system. Jonathan has seventeen years of experience in senior IT positions within the global financial services industry, spanning buy side, sell side and high-growth vendor organizations.
Paul Lucas
EVP & Managing Director, International Operations
Paul is responsible for Ipreo's international operations. Paul comes to Ipreo from i-Deal where he was head of European operations. Paul was a founding partner of Carson Europe, a financial information company serving syndicate desks. In 2000, Carson was acquired by Thomson Financial, where Paul went on to run their Transaction Services business in Europe and Asia. Previously, he was a partner in Market Intelligence Ltd, a London based financial research company also acquired, in 1994, by Thomson. Prior to that, Paul worked at the London Stock Exchange.
Allen Williams
EVP & Managing Director, Global Debt Capital Markets
Allen manages Ipreo's Global Debt Capital Markets new issue bookbuilding software, responsible for all Municipal and Fixed Income offerings. Allen joined Ipreo's i-Deal product line following its acquisition of Dalcomp from Thomson Financial. At Thomson, Allen served as President of the Thomson Financial Municipals Group for five years. Allen is a graduate of St. John's University.
Bill Sherman
EVP & Managing Director, Global Data Strategy & Analytics
Bill and his team are responsible for all of Ipreo's global content and analytics, including the collection and quality control of the decision tools and high-end analytics integrated into all of our product offerings. Bill comes from i-Deal, which he joined in 2006. Previously, Bill was a partner in the Carson Group, where he created a series of high-end analytical tools used by global investment banks and corporations in many of the prominent deals of the last two decades. After Carson Group was purchased by Thomson Financial in late 2000, Bill served as Executive Vice President and Head of Analytical Services for Thomson Financial's Corporate Group. Bill holds a BS from the University at Buffalo and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Baruch College.
Chris Taylor
EVP & Managing Director, Global Investor Relations
Chris oversees Ipreo's corporate global investor relations services and products offered to listed companies around the world. Chris came to Ipreo through the acquisition of CapitalBridge in February 2008, where he served as Managing Director, responsible for the global operations of the firm. During his 10 year tenure there, Chris was a key orchestrator of the firm's growth and transformation into one of the preeminent brands in market intelligence. Prior to joining CapitalBridge, Chris was a Senior Analyst at Morrow & Co.'s Stockwatch Department. Chris holds a B.S. in Management and Organization from the University of Connecticut.
Paul Hebert, Jr.
EVP & Managing Director, Global Sales
Paul runs global sales across all business lines. Paul came to Ipreo from Thomson Reuters where he served as Vice President, Major Accounts, responsible for managing all sales and support functions for some of Thomson Reuters’ largest financial markets clients. Prior to Thomson, Paul was Managing Director of Citigate Financial Intelligence, where he was responsible for running the company's investor relations consulting, market intelligence and technology businesses. Paul holds a degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
Charlotte Penrod
EVP & Managing Director, Long Term Municipals
Charlotte is responsible for Ipreo's new issue municipal product line. Charlotte comes to Ipreo via i-Deal following its acquisition of Dalcomp from Thomson Financial. She has extensive experience in syndicate product development, from the creation of bidding origination software through book building and extending into analytical tools. She has over 25 years of experience in the municipal industry.
Jennifer Sun
EVP & Managing Director, Global Equity Capital Markets
Jennifer manages the Equity Capital Markets business globally, with responsibility over product development, client implementations and customer support for all of Ipreo's Equity products, including new issuance bookbuilding software and capital markets analytics services. Additionally, Jennifer is responsible for Ipreo's event management solutions and enterprise-level CRM offering under the Research, Sales & Trading business line. Prior to joining i-Deal in 2001, Jennifer built and headed the Equity Capital Markets Group at Epoch Partners, a San Francisco based technology-enabled investment bank founded by Kleiner Perkins, Benchmark Capital and Charles Schwab. Epoch was acquired by Goldman Sachs in July 2001. Prior to Epoch, Jennifer spent several years in the Equity Capital Markets Group and the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs where she executed domestic and international initial public offerings secondary offerings, and block trades for clients across multiple industry groups. Jennifer holds a Masters of International Affairs in International Finance and Banking from Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Asian Studies from the University of California at Berkeley.
D. O'Hara Macken
EVP & Managing Director, Global Products & Applications
O'Hara and his team are responsible for Ipreo's BD Product Suite, including the strategic direction of the products as well as the management of Ipreo's relationships with its global client base. Before joining Ipreo, O'Hara spent several years in capital markets and corporate finance at such companies as The Nasdaq Stock Market (NASDAQ), Thomson Financial and The Carson Group; most recently co-launching an equity research joint venture between NASDAQ and Reuters Group, Plc. Before bringing this NASDAQ/Reuters joint venture from a business concept to revenue generation in less than nine months, O'Hara served NASDAQ in several corporate finance and client advisory roles. Prior to NASDAQ, O'Hara worked closely with the management teams of varied companies on investor relations and corporate finance related issues for The Carson Group and Thomson Financial.
Ben Sherwin
General Counsel
Ben comes to Ipreo from Bank of America Merrill Lynch where, most recently, he ran the Transaction Advisory Group in Equity Capital Markets. Previously, he spent over five years as a senior counsel for ECM, first at Merrill Lynch and then at the combined firm, also serving on various industry committees. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Ben was a corporate lawyer at the firm Sidley Austin LLP, where he represented investment banks and companies in a wide variety of equity and debt transactions. Ben holds a BA from Yale University, a Masters from King's College London, and a JD from Boston College Law School.
