Ipreo is seeking motivated candidates to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly expanding company and make an immediate impact.
The Analyst Program
Analysts will have significant exposure to all levels of management within Ipreo and its clients. Job Opportunities available in the following areas: Product Marketing (Equity, Fixed Income, or Municipals) and Market Intelligence (Capital Markets Analytics or Corporate Investor Relations)
The Product Marketing Analyst will have an opportunity to be part of a team, responsible for building products for Ipreo. Some of the skills they will learn and apply are Client Services; Sales & Training; Product Development, Data Research, Application Testing and Demonstration. The analyst will gain an overall understanding of our business and be given an opportunity to use and sharpen varying skill sets.
The Market Intelligence Analyst will have an opportunity to be part of a fast-growing team that is focused on providing sophisticated analysis on the capital markets to investment banks and publicly traded companies. A demonstrated interest in Wall Street is essential.
Ipreo Capital Markets Analytics, an outsourced consultative service, assists investment banks with their origination and execution efforts by providing them with an understanding of their Issuers' valuation, institutional investor targeting efforts and trends & themes in both the new issuance environment and broader market.
Ipreo Corporate Investor Relations serves as an extension to publicly traded companies' investor relations efforts. Through various initiatives, the team assists companies in understanding how their stock is viewed as an investment vehicle, the perception of the investment community and how current market trends, changes in valuation, and major corporate actions will impact their shareholder base and share price. The team also provides valuable intelligence that anticipates the reaction to a major corporate action such as a merger, acquisition, spin-off, dividend policy change, or IPO.
Skills
Ipreo is looking for highly motivated and personable individuals with a passion for the financial markets and technology. The candidate must have the following:
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- An ability to work independently and within a team dynamic
- An ability to absorb large amounts of information in a high energy, fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with exploring different types of technology
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Timeline
- Ipreo participates in local campus recruiting events, as well as the New York Recruiting Consortium throughout the Fall
- Job descriptions are posted in February via MonsterTrak, e-Recruiting, and individual school Career Centers
- Phone Interviews occur in February and March
- In-House interviews take place in late March through the end of April
- Offers are made on a rolling basis through the end of April
- Employment begins in June
